Black-backed-Jackals are not seen very often, although there are plenty of them on the farm. They are mainly active in the evenings and are very cautious.

For this trophy hunter and guide were stalking on the fresh tracks of seven Kudubulls, over a distance of 7 km. When they got up on them, the hunter still had to wait nearly another hour, because this bull was standing directly behind a smaller one.
