Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros)

The Kudu is the biggest antelope on the farm. The bull is marked by its spirally horns. Their bodymass can vary from 150 kg up to 250 kg. Their preferred habitat, differs between hills and regions well-bushed. Kudus are mainly browsers.

 

 

 

Female Kudus are veary courteous and therefor stalking can be more dificulte, because they are mostly appear in herds.

 

 

 

Kudus prefer hillsides and bushy areas.
